Bubbles & Mirrors Psychological Service (BMPS) is a professional psychology Practice based in Pretoria. It is co-founded by Nompumelelo Lesabe who is an independent Counselling Psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). Mpume obtained her Masters degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She has an interest in human behaviour in general and how the human mind influences our thoughts, emotions an behaviour, and ultimately the people we become. Mpume is also intrigued by how human behaviour can be shaped, not to be immune but to effectively navigate through life. As a result, BMPS have a particular interest in child, adolescent and family therapy to facilitate the positive shaping and growth of children into mentally fit adults who either blow happy and healthy bubbles or become positive mirrors to those they interact with. Our approach to therapy, counselling and coaching is based on a believe and knowledge that enthusiasm and circumstances only create bubbles, they do not keep them from popping, but self-esteem, unconditional support, and mental fortitude allows human-being to manage their own destiny, keep blowing more and more bubbles whenever some of them pops and fade. Our focus is on co-creating solutions with our clients, use the mirror to reflect inside themselves, and use those insights to chatter the way forward into the future. Our goal is to empower and support our clients.
